“ I can’t stress enough how incredible the food was! It was some do the best fusion food I’ve had! The pork belly guacamole was heavenly! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and the back patio is magical! This is such a gem and a MUST! You will not regret it! Also, Hazel was the best server and just so lovely and made sure we had a great time. She really made our experience there! 10/10! This will be my first stop next time I’m back in La Paz! ”

“ Great service! The waiters asked about allergies but accidentally served our main with the allergen, they were more happy to remake the dish without the allergen. They were very friendly too. Good selection of modern Mexican food with some Asian fusion flavours. Nice vibey interior. There’s seating rooms, courtyard or you can sit in the front. We sat in the courtyard, might recommend sitting in front or inside instead as the waitstaff walk past you to reach the kitchen. ”

“ We gave Biznaga Baja Bistro a try tonight and were not disappointed. Menus in Spanish and English. Most of the staff speak English if that’s helpful for you. Phenomenal craft cocktails! We tried the seasonal risotto with grilled shrimp and asparagus, as well as the short rib burger. The fries with the burger were the best we’ve ever tasted in La Paz. Cannoli for dessert. Service was warm and attentive. Super friendly staff. This place is truly a gem. Highly recommended. ”
“ Really great place in the heart of La Paz. Delicious cocktails (2-for-1 Mezcalitas and Margs from 2-6pm) and food. We had a Barbecue Burger and a Smoked Beet Salad. Both excellent. Highly recommend coming here. ”
“ This place is just incredible. It is, without exaggeration, one of the most delightful restaurants I've been to anywhere in the world. Hands down the best food I had anywhere in La Paz, and some of the best meals I've had ever. The dishes are novel, creative, and insanely flavorful, the space is beautiful and well-designed, and the staff are super sweet and attentive. We went back 4 times over the course of a 2-week visit because we just couldn't get enough. I will be sure to return any time I pass through La Paz in the future, and I'll be recommending it to anyone who visits! I almost never write reviews, but had to make an exception for this place because it is just that good. My one complaint is that there are very few vegetarian dishes, which I feel like they could do super well given how brilliant the chef clearly is. But great pescatarian options because the fish dishes in particular are mind-blowing. The cocktails are also super unique and excellent without fail. Thanks to the chef and staff for all the incredible meals! ”

Biznaga Baja Bistro in La Paz brings the heat like a Saskatchewan Roughriders tailgate—if the Riders swapped Pilsner for mezcal and upgraded the menu to straight-up ludicrous. The surf and turf? Had me speaking fluent flavour. That burger? A tower of glory that made this thick ol’ Canadian well up with pride (and maybe a lil’ grease). The vibe is cool, the decor’s on point, and the service? Smoother than a Rider victory dance. Even that nice old Asian gent who passed out at Coit Tower in '23 would rise up for this feast. Five stars, mucho gusto, and go Riders go! ”
